Hi my name is Johan. I'm 23 years old and I'm a professional esports player. I play a game called league of legends. First I'm going to talk about my family and how I got into playing video games. I have mother, Ingrid and a father, Olof and my older brother Daniel. My big brother who is four years older than me was the reason I started to play video games. When I was 8years old I watched my brother play video games And I thought it looked fun, so he asked me if I wanted to play, I said Yes . My first game is called "eggbert" you're basically an egg and do mission and try to survive levels. I started to play more advanced and realistic games, like runescape. You create a hero and name it something and do quests and have fun. It was an online game so I met a lot of random friends there, I remember I played it for 2years or more. I play ps2 games as well with my friends and was nothing special just for fun. When I got older I didn't have time for games because school got in the way. Anyhow Im going to speak about family now, I will come back to "gaming part" later.
I was the younger brother in my family. My older brother and me fought and argued a lot but still we managed to be friends and do things together. I am very different to my brother I think. We raised up in the same family but overall we are different persons. I'm more chatty and open minded I guess, while my brother had some friends but to many. My parents did a good job raising us both, we choose different paths me and my brother. My family came up with activities and found sports, hobbies and other activities. I had a really good childhood and I think my brother can agree with me. I think I would describe my mother as the more kind, funny and comforting parent meanwhile my dad was strict which was good so I made good choices in life. My father also have good sides, he taught me how to bike, win and iceskating. The gaming part was not the happiest moment for my parents but they accepted it. The idea of become pro was not really a thought I had in mind, but my mother supported me some while my dad made sure I stayed good in school. I wasn't the good who got in trouble a lot, luckily I choose the good ang nice friends, not that there was bad friends. So if we do a short summary of my family: I have big brother who I fight with a lot but we still like each other. My family did a good job raising me and somewhat supported me in gaming industry. That was a short part of my life and my family.
Since I got older and my brother got older we started to play more technologic games and violent games. If I didn't play games I would not have been good at english when I was a kid. I learned so much english and new words from the games. Me and my brother started to play together that was out only bondages we had left. Daniel had som anger issues when he played the game which effected him in school and at home. He got more aggressive in his choice of language and rage, it basically means he had hard to control his anger and he realised to my parents. He was quite fit so he kind of hit my dad when my father turned of his game. This was hard for me, It effected me in school because I felt bad for my parents and he started to become a dictator at home. After a few years he got over it and started to think about his future and so did I. We decided to play a game called league of legends together. I was better than my brother and I discovered I was pretty good at the game and I enjoyed it as well. I just turned 19 and celebrated my success about graduation. It was summerbreak and I though it was a good opportunity for to play games. I played a few ranked games online. Weird as it sounds I got spectated from coaches who pick players on teams. They had me do a couple of tests and I passed. Of course I talked to my parents before I made my decision and they supported me without doubts. I became one of the top stars in my team I got recognized in the streets sometimes.
After a while playing a while for fun I started to earn loads of money. I know am a professional esport player and a happy one as well. I never could have done this without my parents and my brothers support even though we disagree sometimes but that's what siblings do. I keep play games and earn more money everyday and I visit my family from time to time.
I am know became an famous esport player I don't think I want that in the future. I want a more steady job where I can have family and not travel so much if I was a professional esport player. Hope you enjoyed it :)
